Lakeland Education is an innovative online education company that offers maths tutoring services. We aim to enhance the quality of maths education by providing expert-led, interactive, and customisable tutoring programs that focus on identifying and developing the student's individual areas of weakness. By leveraging the latest teaching methods and technology, we ensure that every student receives the attention and support they need to succeed in mathematics.
With a full and detailed knowledge gleaned from my many years of teaching and as head of department; I fully understand the requirements of the Maths curriculum and the teaching aids that can be used to deepen student's understanding. I have now decided to become a full- time tutor, supporting students throughout key stage 3 and 4. The aim is to create bespoke lessons using premium resources that empower the students to succeed. I believe that maths can be engaging, enjoyable, and accessible for everyone. Using the latest teaching methods and interactive manipulatives, we offer personalised tuition that helps students grasp complex concepts with ease.
Led by John-Paul Duckworth, with over 20 years of teaching experience and 10 years as a Head of Department, we offer proven expertise in helping students excel.
We combine traditional teaching with cutting-edge educational techniques, including hands-on manipulatives, technology, and visual aids, to deepen students' understanding of mathematical concepts.
Every student is different, which is why our lessons are customized to fit each student’s individual needs. Whether they're preparing for GCSEs, or just need extra support, we’re here to help.
Students will be taught a number of revision techniques that can then be adapted to be used in any other subject, allowing them to develop as well rounded learners.
I am passionate about making maths accessible and enjoyable for all students and look forward to being able to work with the students to enable them to reach their full potential.
